Why we built Uttam

Uttam began with a worry every adult child living away from their parents knows too well.

The worry we're solving

Millions of Indian parents live independently while their children build lives in other cities or countries. A fall, a sudden fright, a moment when something isn't right — and the distance that felt manageable becomes unbearable. Uttam exists to close that distance with dignity: a simple way for a parent to raise the alarm and reach family fast, without turning their home into a place of surveillance.

What we believe

That safety shouldn't depend on a smartphone your parent will never use. That care should respect independence, not erode it. And that the people who raised us deserve technology built around them — not the other way around.

Who we are

Uttam is built by Magritte Technologies Pvt Ltd, a company based in Mumbai, India. We are a small team building for Indian families first.
